Professional Development
The Centre for Military and Veterans’ Health is the national centre for postgraduate and professional development opportunities for Australian Defence Force and civilian medical, nursing and allied health practitioners working with former and serving military personnel.
The Centre aims to increase knowledge amongst practitioners about the health aspects of service life, successful models of care and best practice procedures in order to enhance standards in military and veterans’ health delivery.
By offering internationally-renowned accreditation, CMVH further aims to increase the employability and retention of health workers.
Harnessing the resources of The University of Queensland, the University of Adelaide and Charles Darwin University, CMVH offers the Master of Public Health (Defence) program to help you better understand the health aspects of service life and how to enhance treatment, rehabilitation and evacuation procedures.
