Health Professionals
The Centre for Military and Veterans’ Health is the national centre for postgraduate and professional development opportunities for Australian Defence Force and civilian medical, nursing and allied health practitioners working with former and serving military personnel.
Our training programs are primarily targeted toward public health, health administration and occupational medicine with a focus on military and veterans’ health.
Courses
The Centre also aims to increase knowledge amongst practitioners about the health aspects of service life, successful models of care and best practice procedures in order to enhance standards in military and veterans’ health delivery.
By offering internationally-renowned accreditation through our Master of Public Health (Defence) and selection of short courses, the Centre further aims to increase the employability and retention of health workers.
Research and Career Opportunities
CMVH also provides a range of research and career opportunities to suit Australian Defence Force and civilian health practitioners.
