Future Health Workforce Reform
A major contemporary issue in health is workforce reform to enable health services to cope with workforce shortages at a time of rising demand.
CMVH is exploring the potential for expanded roles for existing health practitioners and new types of assistant practitioners in the military and veterans’ health sectors in order to optimise health services.
Through its partnership with The University of Queensland’s Centre for Health Innovation and Solutions, CMVH is seeking new models of care and learning.
More flexible, competency based e-learning is likely to be a key feature in the development of the health work-force of tomorrow.
